Souness won't rush...

NewCastle Manager Graeme Souness says, "When we are not winning the games, if all our best players are on the pitch, then I will have to hold my hands up"

However, Graeme Souness has injury doubts over Kieron Dryer, Emre and Nolberto Solano for Saturday's home game against

The trio are all rated 50-50 for the weekend clash but Souness insists he will not play them unless they are 100 per cent fit.

Dyer and Emre both have hamstring injuries while Solano is nursing a calf problem, and the United boss is determined not to rush them back to first-team action and aggravate their problems.

"We can't afford to get into a situation where they are back for half-an-hour in a game and are then out for three weeks," said Souness.

"So if it means we have to leave them out this weekend then we'll do that.

"I'm very happy with the squad I've got here.

"It's just unfortunate we haven't yet had them all out on the pitch at the same time, but that will come soon I hope."
