Braizil beat Argentina 4-1

What a match...and Brazil once again proved that they are still the best football team of the world.

Brazil beat Argentina 4-1 in the Conferderation Cup. Infact, before the match, my friend and I had predicted that Brazil will win, but I thought that it would only win by a goal or must decide through extra time. But Brazil had proved us all wrong and this was their biggest win over Argentina for 37 years.

Two outstanding goals from Adriano one shot from left foot and another was a heading drives Brazil to an unforgettable vitory night. The 2 goals also made him to become the tournament's top scorer.

Brazil really deserved to win this match...

Confederation Cup : Mexico vs Argentina

A preview for the Conferderation Cup. Brazil had already made it to the final, who's next?

Argentina are making very good performances in this tournament. They had scored 8 in 3 matches. On the other hand, Mexico are the pleasant surprise of this tournament. They managed to beat Brazil by 1-0.

The Mexicans are a very discipline team but the weakness in them is that do not so good at their attacks. They play ‘possession football' and are normally slow in counter attack. Thus they would have a problem in breaking up the defence line of Argentina today.

Argentines have a strong midfield, a very important factor which will decide the result of a match. However, their strikers of Aimar, Saviola and Tevez have yet to show their scoring ability. But no matter what, Argentina is still a better team than Mexico. The asianhadicap odds for this match is Argentina giving -0.75 balls. My pick will be Argentina.

David Beckham

David Beckham Posted by Hello

I had never wanted to write anything about David Beckham. Reason is simple,he is too well known and has too much publicity. You can just get all info of him by typing his name in any search engine. But since I had already promised some of my female colleague, I had no choice but to do some writeup on him.

D.O.B. :2/5/75
Nationality :United Kingdom
City of Birth : Leytonstone
Weight :73.92 kg
Height :180 cm
Previous Club :Manchester United
Current Club : Real Madrid
Position : Midfield
International Caps : 60 (England)
International Goals :11

David Beckham started with the county of Essex when he was a schoolboy, he had trials with Leyton Orient and attended Tottenham Hotspur's school of excellence before.
On 8th July 1991, he signed for Manchester United as a trainee , he helped the club to win the FA Youth Cup in May 1992, by scoring in the second leg of the final against Crystal Palace.
David eventually made his first Premier League debut at home to Leeds United on 2 April 1995, but it was not until 1995/96, that he really established himself in the first team.
In the year of 2003, David left Man U, and joined his current club, Real Madrid. His move, was believed that there were some dispute between him and the Manager of the club Sir Alex Ferguson.
I used to admired his skill, but now I felt that since after his marriage, he had became more like a celebrity than a footballer. However, David can still be regarded as one of the most famous and talented players in England.

Soccer Betting....

Had been asked by some of my friends about which are the best soccer betting website online currently. Well, I myself had signed up a few and in my own view, I had come out the following and just share with you all. But just to clarify that I am not to advertise for them, just to provide some advice :
LadBrokes.com - is part of Ladbrokes Worldwide, the betting and gaming division of Hilton Group plc, the world's premier international hotel brand . Able to select a few different language. Payment method include various credit card. Best part is it allow payment through eNets, which is applicable to Sporean only. Asianhandicap Odds available. Fast Payout(Highly Recommended)
Pointbet.com - Pointbet.Com is part of Pointbet International Limited, the betting and gaming division of Riveira Group, a privately owned group with more than 15 years of experience on offline market based in Singapore and Hong Kong. AsianHandicap Odds available and the odds offered is one of the best rate. Even offered odds for some not so highly focus matches/leagues. Fast Payout(Highly Recommended)
SportingBet.com - Sportingbet is a tax-free, publicly traded company on AIM, part of the London Stock Exchange with its UK Bookmakers Permit and its additional licence held by Internet Opportunity Entertainment Limited (a Sportingbet group company) with additional licence and casino licence from Antigua and Barbuda. AsianHandicap avilable but not for all matches. Odds might not be as good as Ladbrokes and PointBet. Fast Payout (Recommended)
GameBookers.com - Registered in Antigua & Barbuda. AsianHandicap available but odds is not so attractive. Provide good and detailed analysis of the matches. Allows mobile betting via WAP services. Fast Payout(Average)
Interwetten.com - It started as a telephone betting company for ice hockey and soccer. And now it has been able to attract more than 200,000 registered customers in over 200 countries and this number continues to increase daily. In the year 2003 Interwetten enjoyed a turnover of around 131 million euros. However, the odds it offered, is the least attractive of the 4 I mentioned. AsianHandicap not available. But fast payout (Average)
Again, need to emphasize that I am not promoting for any of the company above, just to provide some view of my own. I will continue to write on some of the soccer star player on my next post.

Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney Posted by Hello

Had been asked by a few of my friends to do some compilation of the soccers stars. And in my list I had a few of them like Beckham, Rooney, Henry, Pires, Ronaldo, Figo etc.... so since they so support my blog, thus I just do them a favour. In my following blog, I will do some brief writeup about all these soccer stars...

1st to intro, Wayne Rooney.
Previous Club: Everton
Current Club : Manchester United
Birth Date: October 24 1985
Birth Place: LiverpoolBirth
Nation: England
Nationality: British
Position: Forward

Its no doubt that Rooney had the talent. But what I felt is that he must really control his temper. I never encourage any young childern to take him as a role model, unless he take good care of his own image.
Wayne's talents were shown at international level and when he became England's youngest ever player in February 2003, as he came on as a substitute against Australia at Upton Park. He built up his reputation as one of the world's most exciting young players when playing for England at Euro 2004 in Portugal.
After that, Wayne Rooney went on to become the world's most expensive teenager when he transferred from his previosu club Everton to Manchester United on Tuesday 31 August 2004. The deal was eventually be worth £30million

Japan Beat Greece...1 : 0

Maybe some of you already know the result. But I feel that this is still worth celebrating for Asia soccer. Japan beat the Euro Champion in one of the match in Cofederation Cup!!!

Maybe some of you might say that it was all because some of the key players of Greece Team were injured at that Match, but in soccer the most important thing is to score. So now the fact is Japan scored a goal and win the match.

I had never been a great fan of Japan Soccer Team, but from the way they played (I personally watched that game), they played better and had more scoring chance than Greece. Japan were denied a second goal when substitute Koji Nakata's shot was headed off the goalline by Dmitris Papadopoulos in the dying seconds of the match.

Greece rarely make attack, the only time the Greeks troubled the Japanese defence in the first half was when high balls were aimed towards Charisteas. In the second half, Greece had few scoring opportunities but the best came when Angelos Charisteas twisted and turned but shot straight at Japanese keeper Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi in the 83rd minute.

The only hope that Greece now have is to save some price when they face Mexico on the 22nd June. Wherelse for Japan, they have a chance to qualify for the semi-finals, provide they beat or win against Brazil in their next match.

Tonight, the main focus will be on Germany vs Argentina, I will provide some preview, provided I got some time later....

"Iron" Mike Tyson

A side track from soccer, as there is really not much action on the field now. While waiting for a new season to start, I will take some time to mention about one of my sports idol ----Mike Tyson, or some might called him "Iron" Mike Tyson.

I first saw Tyson played when I am still a teenager, about 14 years old. I can still remembered how he finished up his opponents in a few second time. He is a great warrior at that time. The way he fought, was so fast, furious and agressive. He would never moved back a step, he goes all out, gives everything he have, the ultimate target is to knock out his opponents.None of the boxer can really match him.

However, although the 38 years old boxer, hoping to revitalize his career in the last Saturday match, Tyson (50-6, 2 NC, 44 KOs) threw everything he could, was still being defeated by his largest opponent to date (McBride weighed in at 271 pounds), in the 7th round of the match. At this moment, I think even the most die hard fan of Tyson, will know that it is the final chapter of boxing’s most fascinating character.

Tyson, wished you and your family well, not to be mean, but just retire for good. Forget about the US$30m debt, just file for bankruptcy. Take good care of your family and children. Just like what yourself had said, "I don't have the guts for it. I'm not going to disgrace the sport."

Italian Seria B

As there is not much action from EPL,ISA & SPl, just had to switch my attention to some lower division league, but definetly not S-League.

An extract from Freebetting.net

"In the last round of the season Triestina relegated Pescara in Serie C1 and it has taken the last chance to remain in Serie B to fight against Vicenza. This match was been played just some week ago in Trieste (final result 1-1) and it left a great trail of polemics. But this match will have a totally different history: now both teams cannot fail anything; the morale of the clubs is completely opposite: Triestina had a good final of season, not only for the results, but even for the good fit condition showed in the last matches and the positive mentality to approach the game; Vicenza wasted the unbelievable chance to save it from relegation after the accident home draw against Bari.
2 rounds ago, before the definitely crash suffered in Arezzo by 0-3. I watched both last games played: so authoritary seemed Triestina at home ground; so disbanded Vicenza in the loss away match in Arezzo (3 goals suffered and 2 red cards). Triestina with all regulars ready to start and the same line-up of the last match (modul 4-4-2). Vicenza without Cristallini, Biondini and Pesoli suspended; out De Crescenzo and Pietribasi; the last new about the defender Fissore surely missed for the match.

I think that Triestina will do value the factor field and so it does not fail the approach for the last home match; the home team has shown to be more safety than the past and the good condition of footballers as Baù and Godeas, key men for Triestina, should be the guarantee for the final victory. Vicenza has shown a state of tensione very great, the team had always many problems in its defensive line and in away matches it is not able to propose an acceptable type of game.

First round: TRIESTINA TO WIN, full stake. "

Latest News from Pompey!!

Last season was not so good for my favourite club, Portsmouth. But I am still a die hard fan of them

As a fan of Pompey, I am sharing the joy of the latest news of new signing from this club.

Finally, Pompey have confirmed their 2nd Signing Laurent Robert. The 1st signing was Andy O'Brien.

Robert joined Newcastle at the start 2001/2002 season, from PSG, where he scores 15 goals in 26 starts.

Robert began his career at Montpellier and has 9 international cap with France. Robert is famous for his deadly free kicks and long shots....

Hope he and his teammate able to help Pompey to achieve a greater height at EPL next season

My very 1st Blog

Hi All,

Just in case you all bump into this blog accidentally or refer by friend or whatever. A warm welcome to all of you......

This is my very 1st time trying to create a blog myself. At the very begining, I was too afraid to post of what I want to say, what I think or whatever, caused I admitted that my usage of grammar, vocabulary or even to constructing a sentences by using all those past particiapate tense, past present, is not so good.

But after much consideration, I say to myself, what the heck, just post, they will be some who like it and definetly some will laugh at me or whatever....

I am a football fan...especially EPL. So most of the time, I will be talking about soccer, and I will analysis some of the matches. I am a Portsmouth University Graduate , so my favourite club will be Portsmouth.

Of course, occasionally I will post/talk about some other things.Anything range from money, women (I am a guy, of course I will talk about women right??), technology etc.... But most of time will be my favourite item...SOCCER!!!

I welcome all comments....
